Phibro has conducted a study with moderate coccidiosis challenge in broilers (Study BRT 134-147).

In this study, we have evaluated five treatments:

  • Treatment 1: Infected and untreated control
  • Treatment 2: Infected and Aviax Plus 600g/MT up to 21 days followed by Monesin 120 ppm up to 28 days
  • Treatment 3: Infected and Aviax Plus 600g/MT up to 28 days
  • Treatment 4: Infected and Nicarbazin + Narasin 625 g/MT up to 21 days followed by Monesin 120 ppm up to 28 days
  • Treatment 5: Infected and Nicarbazine + Narasine 625 g/MT up to 28 days

In the chart, we can identify the Feed Conversion and Weight Gain data during the 1-28 days period and the 21-28 days period. We can also observe that Aviax Plus 28 days provided the best treatment.

  • Aviax Plus 28 days tended to be better than Aviax Plus 21 days (Weight gain 28 days, Feed conversion 28 days)
  • Aviax Plus 28 days was statistically better than the Nicarbazin + Narasin 28 days (Weight gain 28 days, Feed conversion 28 days)
